Cookie Policy Sections

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the website owners. Cookies may be “session cookies” (which expire when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). Some cookies are set by us (“first-party cookies”), and others are set by third-party services that we use on our site (“third-party cookies”).

2. Types of Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies on adultadhdgrouptherapy.com:

Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential for the website to function properly. They enable core functionality such as page navigation, access to secure areas, and cookie consent management. Without these cookies, the website cannot operate correctly. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent under applicable privacy laws.

Performance / Analytics Cookies: We do not currently deploy first- or third-party analytics cookies (for example, Google Analytics) on this website. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, seek your consent before deploying them.

Functionality Cookies: These cookies and related browser-storage technologies allow the website to remember choices you make (such as your cookie-consent preferences). We do not currently use third-party functionality cookies. Note: our website loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com); Google Fonts does not typically set cookies, but it does receive your IP address as a normal consequence of any HTTP request.

Security / Anti-Spam Cookies: We use Cloudflare Turnstile on contact and intake forms to deter automated abuse. Turnstile may set short-lived Cloudflare cookies (such as _cfuvid and cf_chl_*) for the duration of a challenge. These are treated as strictly necessary because the forms cannot otherwise resist abuse.

Marketing / Advertising Cookies: We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on our website. If such cookies are ever introduced, we will update this policy and seek your consent before deploying them.

3. Specific Cookies and Trackers in Use

The following table lists the cookies and similar tracking technologies that may be deployed on our website at the time of this policy’s publication. We will update this table when our deployment changes.

Cookie / Tracker Name Provider Category Purpose Duration
cookie_consent Pasadena Clinical Group Strictly Necessary Stores your cookie consent preferences 12 months
_cfuvid Cloudflare (Turnstile) Strictly Necessary / Security Rate limiting for the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot challenge that protects our forms Session
cf_chl_* Cloudflare (Turnstile) Strictly Necessary / Security Short-lived challenge cookie used during the Turnstile security verification flow Session (typically minutes)

In addition to the cookies listed above, our pages load web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts does not normally set cookies on your device, but, like any HTTP request, it transmits your IP address and basic request metadata to Google for the purpose of font delivery. See Section 4 for the relevant Google privacy notice.

4. Third-Party Service Disclosures

Some technologies on our website are provided by third parties. These third parties have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Used for spam and bot protection on our contact, careers, and intake forms. Turnstile may set short-lived Cloudflare cookies during a challenge and transmits browser signals (such as your IP address) to Cloudflare. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
  • Google Fonts: Used to deliver the typefaces used on our pages. Google Fonts does not normally set cookies, but it does receive your IP address as part of the font request. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner appears at the bottom of the page. You may:

  • Accept All: Allow all categories of cookies
  • Reject All: Reject all non-essential cookies (strictly necessary cookies remain active)
  • Customize: Choose which categories of cookies to allow

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer. Additionally, most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through browser settings. You can typically configure your browser to block all cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when cookies are being set. Please note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality and performance of our website.

6. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The effective date at the top of this policy will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.

7. Informational Only; No Medical Advice

This Cookie Policy is provided for general informational purposes about how cookies and tracking technologies operate on this website. Nothing on this page constitutes medical, mental-health, or legal advice, and nothing on this page may be used to self-diagnose or self-treat any condition. Use of the website is governed by our Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our other posted policies, all of which are incorporated by reference.

8. Third-Party Cookie Providers; No Endorsement; Limitation of Liability

Cookies, fonts, anti-bot challenges, and similar resources delivered by third parties (such as Cloudflare or Google Fonts) are governed by those parties’ own terms and privacy policies. Pasadena Clinical Group does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the practices of any third party. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pasadena Clinical Group and each of its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, owners, members, managers, partners, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, independent contractors, supervisees, interns, trainees, students, volunteers, agents, attorneys, accountants, insurers, vendors, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to any cookie, tracker, or analytics pixel, including any third-party cookie. Each Released Party is an intended third-party beneficiary of this limitation of liability and is entitled to enforce it directly. Any dispute arising out of or relating to cookies or trackers is subject to the mandatory pre-suit notice, mediation, binding individual arbitration, jury-trial waiver, and class-action waiver set forth in our Terms & Conditions, incorporated by reference.
